The Foundation Level of the WordPress Training Program is carefully designed for beginners & aspiring website creators who wish to build beautiful, professional-looking informational websites. The focus here is not only on understanding the core functionalities of WordPress but also on mastering Elementor a powerful drag & drop page builder plugin- to create modern, visually engaging web pages without coding.

Introduction

The Foundation module is the starting point of the WordPress training journey, designed specifically for beginners & aspiring website creators. This module introduces participants to the WordPress ecosystem and teaches them how to build professionallooking, visually appealing, and fully functional informational websites. The program focuses on hands-on learning through real-time website building, using one of the most user-friendly and powerful tools available today -WordPress. To enhance design capabilities, the course also includes comprehensive training in Elementor, a popular page builder that empowers learners to create responsive and modern layouts without any coding knowledge.
Over four structured weeks, participants will gain confidence in creating web pages that are not only beautiful and user-centric but also aligned with Google’s web design and performance guidelines. The training includes a deep understanding of themes, plugins, visual design principles, user navigation, mobile responsiveness & essential website settings. This module is perfect for students, small business owners, freelancers, educators, bloggers, and anyone who wants to build an effective web presence.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this foundation-level training is to equip participants with the core skills and mindset needed to plan, design, and launch clean, attractive and functional information websites using WordPress. In today’s digital world, having the ability to establish a professional online presence is a critical asset. This module helps bridge the gap between raw interest & practical capability by demystifying the website development process for non-technical users.
Participants will learn how to work independently with the WordPress dashboard, configure essential settings, install and manage plugins, choose the right themes, and build structured web pages using Elementor. They will also be introduced to key concepts of user experience (UX) & search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure that the websites they create are not only visually appealing but also technically optimized and discoverable online.

The intention behind this foundational training is not only to teach “how” to build a website, but to instill a strong understanding of what makes a good website in terms of design, performance, accessibility, and content structure. The course aims to empower participants to think like web creators- with a focus on clarity, usability, and effectiveness.
